Local CDL-A Driver Intertape Polymer Group (IPG) is looking for company drivers to deliver our manufactured goods locally to customer sites. We Offer: $26.00/hour plus per stop and breakdown pay Dedicated trucks - not sharing with other drivers Excellent Company Benefits Package Fuel Card Load weight about 15k pounds Schedule Day Shift Monday - Friday Home Every Night Benefits 401(k) plus company match Dental Insurance Disability Insurance Health Insurance Life Insurance - company paid Long Term Disability - company paid Paid Orientation Paid Time Off Referral Program Short Term Disability - company paid Vision Insurance Responsibilities Transport finished goods over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Input "macros" into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents, or violations Perform dock duties like loading/offloading trucks and pulling/staging of products when not driving Skills At least 1 year of OTR verifiable driving experience Must possess a valid Class-A CDL license Must possess a clean driving record - no recent moving or driving violations Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.) Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of applicable DOT rules and regulations Adaptability and foresight to manage unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.) Company Overview Intertape Polymer Group (IPG) is a dynamic multinational organization that prides itself on its corporate culture of a family atmosphere that meets high achieving company performance.
