Loaner Car Consultant

Position Title: Loaner Car Consultant

Department: Service Department

Position Summary: Manage service department loaner car fleet, ensure that vehicles are checked in and out properly, all documentation has been obtained and customers are aware of their responsibilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Physically check in-out loaner cars.

• Collect and Maintain paperwork and documentation for loaner and rental cars, in CRM software as well as hard copies.

• Keep a list of customers and their rental dates.

• File insurances claims on damaged loaner cars.

• Ensure that all fees and charges are correctly reported in the DMS system.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to patients, employees and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Other Skills & Abilities:

Skill and ability to operate a computer. Skill and ability to organize and prioritize work.

Skill and ability to meet deadlines and operate office equipment. Skill and ability to use company software.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
