The Loan Submission Specialist is responsible for making sure all minimum UW requirements are provided by the TPO partner prior to moving a loan to UW once disclosed by the Disclosure Specialist as well as being the primary contact for our broker partners and sales team prior to the loan being submitted UW. The position reports to the Loan Submission / Disclosure Manager.
Reviewing loan files once indexing is complete to make sure the minimum UW requirements were met
Verify information uploaded is accurate including but not limited to borrower name / SS # / DOB for example
Confirming the broker has released automated findings to Home Point
Working directly with the Disclosure Specialist on obtaining clarification from or documents needed for the disclosure specialist to issue the disclosures
Daily follow up with broker / AE on items needed to disclose or move to UW
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience in the mortgage industry is a plus
Strong Customer service skills.
Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and changing priorities.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity
Excellent time management and follow up skills required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) required.
Knowledge and experience with Ellie Mae Encompass is a plus.
High School Diploma or equivalent
