Position Summary: Responsible for leading the loan Servicing teams functions.

Primary Duties

  • Manage all operational aspects loan servicing, including, but not limited to, amendment processing, modifications, convert to perm construction and mortgage servicing, maintenance, and tickler tracking.

  • Supervision of the daily functions related to preparing and processing of releases of loans paid in full.

  • Process daily FHLB transfers (Wells Fargo) and Citi Mortgage remittances.

  • Daily review of amendment maintenance accuracy and other maintenance reports.

  • Monitors tickler reports for timely perfection of collateral, including Deed of Trust, Final Title Policy, DMV titles and other collateral

  • Serve as a primary contact for internal and external customers for loan questions.

  • Ensure that amendment packages are complete, accurate and are in accordance with Bank policies, procedures and regulatory standards.

  • Management/Leadership: set goals with measurements annually for all employees, create and implement development plans for staff, complete performance appraisals by deadline, hold employees accountable for performance & behavior and stay abreast of industry trends.

  • Coaches the Loan Servicing Team

  • Monitors the timely completion of credit bureau disputes.

  • Monitors daily completion of Non-posted transactions.

  • Ensure all functions of loan servicing are completed according to specified procedures and guidelines.

  • Perform task associated with assigned department and/or corporate projects and initiatives.

  • Participates in leadership team meets and project meetings.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Maintain compliance with and adhere to all state and federal regulations and bank policies and procedures, including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, FACT ACT, Community Reinvestment Act, and EEO/AA/Fair Employment Practices.

Minimum Educational & Experience Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Banking and lending operations experience

  • Management experience

Minimum Skill Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of loan products, loan operations functions, policies and procedures, as well as documentation and processes required by bank policy and state and federal regulations

  • Strong understanding of collateral related to government backed loans

  • Effective and professional verbal and written communications

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Proficient on MS Office products and departmental software

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations, such as interest, percentages, etc.

Physical Demands

In terms of an 8-hour workday, "occasional" equals 1% to 33%, "frequent" equals 34% to 66%, and "continuous" equals 67% to 100%. However, some duties are performed monthly, annually, or sporadically throughout the year and are essential functions.
