Our Customer Account Management team focuses on the customer and strives for operational excellence in servicing mortgage loans and home equity products for our customers.
Responsible for reviewing, researching, processing, and responding to basic to moderate written and phone inquiries from customers, title companies, vendors, and internal personnel pertaining toloans and various areas within loan servicing. Functions include: payment and invoice research, taxes, insurance, loan modifications and assumptions, prepayments, payoffs, adjustable rate loans, credit reporting, and lien perfection; researching and analyzing problems and recommending solutions; conducting periodic audits of files; Input data and process information into the system of record; may also coordinate property inspections, lien priority and loan disbursements in accordance with loan documentation; may perform procedures related to advances and pay downs, funds wiring and disbursement process, and processing of payment requests. Within the commercial business is responsible for payment processing, check disbursements, tax payments, imaging and document management.
Escrow Operations LSS 3:
The Loan Servicing Specialist 3 position will be housed within Escrow Operations at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. This department is responsible for servicing escrow housed on a mortgage account. Work is generated by customer request, vendor request, compliance related, or internal data integrity purposes. The LSS 3 will work in various systems to perform duties such as: Analyze escrow accounts, disburse funds, validate payment, tax and insurance data as it relates to the escrow account, and respond to internal and external research requests.
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Other Desired Qualifications
6 months experience in a mail room and/or check handling experience
Strong technology skills
6 months experience using MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform) and/or associated wrap applications (FHAST, PMI Deletes, etc.).
6 months experience using GEM (Global Event Management)
Background in mortgage origination or servicing
Demonstrated strong technology skills
Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous, complex, and escalated scenarios
Demonstrated strong decision-making ability
1+ years Escrow Operations experience
1+ years with MSP, GEM, ICMP, and EASE systems
Advanced MS Excel and Outlook knowledge
