Our Capital Markets team manages the interest rate and operational risks associated with the origination, sale and servicing of mortgage loans, and provides liquidity for the mortgage assets originated by Wells Fargo.

The Salability Operations Team within Capital Markets Title Operations is looking to fill a Loan Servicing Specialist 3 position on the Collateral Flow Services team in Minneapolis, MN. The primary objective of this team is to support the success of Capital Markets by ensuring custodial exceptions are resolved same date to support salability, serviceability, and regulatory requirements.

Utilize effective problem solving skills to identify the appropriate course of action to resolve issues.

  • Possess the ability to analyze & prioritize between multiple tasks on a daily basis & ensure timely responses to inquiries.

Contribute to the documentation of existing processes & share best practices with other areas.

  • Possess the ability to lead yourself and be a role model for others.

  • Employ strong communication skills and take initiative in obtaining documentation.

  • Identify trends.

Participate in projects as needed.

  • Track and monitor inventory on an ongoing basis for compliance and reconcile discrepancies.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ months of experience in one or a combination of the following: customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills

  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

  • Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting mortgage/financial documents

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

  • Exposure to Wells Fargo MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform) application

  • Knowledge and understanding of mortgage servicing or post closing operations

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Job Expectations

  • This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
