The Role

This position will perform and deliver on routine assignments for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility independently in accordance with established procedures/guidelines. S/he will handle the administration of various loan management functions for his/her assigned areas while maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Administers and audits the transfer of electronic loan files to/from internal/external systems and databases.

  • Collaborates with internal legal counsel to prepare loan files for off-site storage.

  • Coordinates the reporting of all journal entries and accounting items for outgoing loan closing wires.

  • Manages unaccounted mortgage releases and/or quit claim deeds.

  • Performs required OFAC checks utilizing external databases.

  • Prepares and distributes electronic closing packages to correspondents, outside counsel, borrowers and borrowers counsel.

  • Processes progressively more routine loan administration functions.

  • Provides administrative support to mortgage loan closing/servicing managers.

  • Records required explanatory notes into the appropriate internal/external systems for all paid loans.

  • Schedules outgoing loan closing wires utilizing the appropriate internal/external systems in collaboration with assigned internal team(s).

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or GED or minimum Associate degree in lieu of required experience. (Minimum Required)
  • 3 - 5+ Years of loan administration/management experience that is directly aligned with the responsibilities of this position. (Required)
