Loan Research and Transfer Analyst
The Loan Research and Transfer Analyst is part of the Special Loan Services (SLS) team. This analyst is responsible for cleaning up any account errors or adjustments 60 days after being boarded into our servicing system. These requests can include any special loan adjustments, such as, Adjustable Rate Mortgages (ARMs), Daily Simple Interest (DSIs), interest only, balloons, Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOCs), modifications or they can be simple adjustments to the borrowers information. The Loans Research and Transfer Analyst is also responsible for completing investor transfers.
Completes all internal/external requests within a 72-hourtime frame.
Conducting in depth research for loan adjustment requests
Completing internal investor transfers
Applies knowledge of and remains current on all guidelines. (Training provided)
Responsible for meeting legal requirements and following internal policies. (Training provided)
Ongoing training pertaining to special loan products ie: HELOCs, payment option, DSI, etc.
Provide mortgage quality assurance with direction and guidance necessary to maintain compliance.
Ability to think analytically, understand the business, perform analysis and communicate effectively.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
3 days a month, one of them being the last business day, will be expected to stay until investor transfers are complete, most likely 8:00 p.m. Additional overtime may be required.
Education and Experience
Basic knowledge of MS Office Excel
Must be able to read, comprehend, and act upon various forms of information received from internal and external sources.
An Associates degree or higher or 2 years minimum related work experience preferred, not required.
Knowledge of different Mortgage Products: Fixed Rate/ARM/Balloon/Heloc/Option Arms, preferred, not required.
