Loan Reporting Data Analyst I

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loan Portfolio Risk Management Package:

• Create and maintain ongoing monthly spreadsheets in order to gather supplemental information needed for various LPRM reports.

• Create, review, and verify assigned reports that are provided within the Loan Portfolio Risk Management package.

• Loan Portfolio Analysis Quarterly Board Presentation:

• Compile data from the Loan Portfolio Risk Management package to develop a Board Presentation for Executive Management to present.

• Dual verification on completed presentation for accuracy before presenting to Executive Management.

• Axiom maintenance and projects:

• Import data files, validate import and run utilities.

• Charge-Off & Recovery Monarch updates.

• Assist Finance with Axiom projects.

• Commercial Loans Graded Non-Criticized and Criticized:

• Coding approved Commercial Loans

• Risk Rating Changes, TDR-Troubled Debt Restructure, Impairments, & Specific Reserve data when instructed, and setup Legal Modification tracking for all TDR-Commercial Loans.

• File and Audit Grade Change Forms.

• Maintenance the "Problem Loans Data File" and "Watch Loans Data File".

• Provide Credit Analysis with reports of all Risk Grade Changes to assist in identifying potential criteria changes.

• Perform general analysis of portfolio trends and develop an understanding of the Portfolio.

• Maintain accurate documentation on a variety of reports associated within their role.

• Create and verify the survey reports for the Federal Reserve.

• Write and design reports as assigned.

• Assist and support Corporate Administration with reports for review and direction.

• Assist the Legal Department with the following:

• Process system updates requested for loans to be coded TDR-Troubled Debt Restructure and Modification setup when applicable.

• Process Consumer TDR - Chapter 7 coding.

• Quality assurance for Input Coding:

• Create, verify and maintain monthly reports to identify inaccuracies.

• Letters of Credit:

• Create, sort and organize the monthly Letters of Credit and Delinquent Letter Fees spreadsheet to be sent to Executive Management, Regional Presidents, Market Presidents, and supporting Management & Staff for review.

• Develop customer correspondence for Letters of Credit

• Fee Letters.

• Develop customer correspondence for Home Equity Letters of Credit.

• Identify operational and processing issues then assist Supervisor with project plan for resolution.

• Provide training as needed within Credit Administration Support.

• Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.

• Perform other duties within the department as assigned

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE

• Position normally requires a Degree in Business Finance/Accounting or at least a minimum of five years of experience with bank loan core processing system.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of a variety of subjects such as: finance, business law, information technology, etc.

• General banking knowledge.

• Intermediate skill level with Excel and Word software.

• Self-starter and self-motivated.

• Detail-oriented.

• Ability to multi-task.

• Ability to meet deadlines.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Works in a production oriented atmosphere.

• Works under minimal supervision based on demonstrated proficiency in carrying out assigned responsibilities.

• Travel could be required.

• May have irregular hours.
