Position Overview:

Are you someone who can drive the strategic intent and economic optimization of the business through the growth of one or more loan products? As a Loan Product Manager, you will need to understand how your product roadmaps meet corporate strategic objectives, including consumer and client impact, credit risk management, securities performance, and the economics of the company. You will ensure alignment with Freddie Mac's objectives and that each product has what it needs to reach the established goals. This role involves interfacing at an executive level to ensure alignment between strategy and the financial impacts of product decisions. This position could be based in McLean, VA or Plano, TX. Our Impact:

This Single-Family Loan Products team leads the strategy for loan acquisitions through the ideation, design, and implementation of sustainable and scalable mortgage loan products that meet borrower needs and are consumable through our lenders and partners. We are responsible for:

  • Portfolio growth and go-to-market strategy

  • Economic success of the products

  • Effective partnerships across Freddie Mac to implement our products

Your Impact:

  • Assist with execution of initiatives that drive consumer impact, performance, execution, and client satisfaction.

  • Coordinate features with key internal partners and resources to deliver Freddie Mac's Product.

  • Work in alignment with the loan products team to provide solutions across our clients and workstreams that expand borrower access to financing for sustainable homeownership.

  • Research market activity to anticipate trends and changing needs among consumers, clients and industries at large to drive a strong delivery strategy that bridges financials, technology, and borrower needs.

  • Manage data, provide reporting on key business metrics including consumer impact, revenue growth, and client satisfaction

  • Support a clear Customer Experience Strategy and market-leading innovative Product Strategy and Roadmap.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years related years of experience in working for a financial services company

  • Successfully manage a diverse portfolio of external clients/partners with delivery accountability and proven track record of success with increased responsibilities

  • Experience with project management, product development and data analytics (SQL, Tableau) is preferred

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Skilled in presenting information and /or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand

  • Strategically increase our Product Management teams' ability to own and guide world-class delivery and commercial growth and expansion

  • Experience navigating and negotiating various delivery, contract, and pricing models to grow revenue and build long-term engagements

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $138,000 - $206,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
