D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Loan Processor Team Lead for their Financial Services Regional Department. The right candidate will assist the Regional Processing Manager by handling weekly pipeline calls with branch managers, field questions from the loan processors and acting the point of contact for the branches directly worked with. In the Regional Processing Manager's absence, assign incoming files.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and train on customer service maintaining company published ExCEED score goals

  • Mentor new loan processors

  • Monitor and train team to maintain QC score of 1.00

  • Monitor and train team to maintain Avg # Suspense Items score of 2.00

  • Ensure that the processors on your team maintain a Timeline Exception of less than 15%

  • Oversee the daily management of the aged loans report

  • Manage BFA goals for the upcoming month

  • Manage timely pre-draw of loans in the pipeline

  • Provide support for the Regional Processing Manager when they are unavailable or out of the office

  • Assist the loan processors with questions and issues on guidelines and loan files

  • Assist the Regional Processing Manager in identifying training needs

  • Assist in daily pipeline management to include monitoring the following reports; Projected to Close, Timeline Exception, Loan Approval Conditions

  • Conduct in depth pipeline reviews with Loan Processors as needed (weekly or monthly)

  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

  • Able to travel overnight

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly manages two or more employees in the Branch Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university

  • One (1) to Two (2) years related experience and/or training

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications

  • Proficiency with MS Office and email

Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Loan Processor for their Financial Services Branch. The right candidate will process mortgage loans and provide a high level of customer service to our builders as well as our home buyers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Receipt of file from Loan Officer through Final Approval * Review file for correct stacking order, AU findings for initial determination and appropriate documentation * Review Loan Officer's "needs list" * Re-review documentation in file, input any changes into the computer systems and re-run for a correct AU Determination * Print a "credit package" * Submit all files to a DHI Underwriter at your Regional Underwriting Center. The files will be distributed by the Underwriting Assistant at the Regional Center Location * Review conditions when received from underwriting * Provide status of file to all parties * When all conditions are received, make any changes necessary to the computer system and resubmit to the AU system * Reconcile the Fee Summary Sheet * Quality Control Responsibilities * Read updates and comply with all Quality Control policies * Attend QC meetings as scheduled * Review all files for DHI Mortgage required checklists * Respond to all QC write-ups within 10 calendar days * General Processor Responsibilities * Review Loan Processor reports daily, Project to Close, Timeline Exception. * Loans in Process Report should be reviewed on a weekly basis * Maintain accurate communication log * Attend weekly processor meetings as directed by Branch Manager * Be aware of AU findings in each file, don't "over-document" the file Education and/or Experience * One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Individual must have a valid and current Mortgage Loan Originator License as required per state regulations.
