Accountemps is seeking a Loan Processor for an large organization based in the South Metro. The Loan Processor is responsible for the following: - Review and verify borrowers income, credit reports, employment histories, property appraisals and title insurance information to prepare loan applications for underwriting submittal.

  • Coordinate efforts between title companies, property appraisers, underwriting, and clients to ensure the timely and accurate processing of mortgage loans in a deadline ?driven environment.

  • Maintain data integrity and validate accuracy and authenticity of all information.

  • Set appropriate expectations, share knowledge, and inform clients about company products, mortgage options, and application progress via inbound and outbound telephone calls, emails, and other written/mailed documents.

VIEW JOBS 11/13/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-11T00:00 Position Overview: This individual will be responsible for originating, structuring, and closing asset-based lines of credit, factoring and syndicated transactions ("club deals), for lower and middle market companies. Transactions will be sourced via a network of financial institutions, regional banks, specialty finance companies, intermediaries, advisors, and online channels. Transactions will be collateral focused, with asset based loan and/or factoring type underwriting; individual will work with the credit team to properly structure all loan products to maintain acceptable credit loss exposure. Borrowers will cover a variety of industries and can be located across the United States. Commitment to Internal Control: The incumbent must understand, abide, and uphold the system of internal controls related to essential duties and responsibilities of the position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Establish and meet quarterly and annual funding targets and growth objectives * Maintains a high level of new inquiries from referral sources * Develop and maintain new and existing referral sources * Promotes the Hitachi Business Finance name throughout the industry Origination * Strong sales skills with a proven ability to originate and close ABL and factoring transactions. * Participate in industry events and conferences to create brand awareness for Hitachi Business Finance. * Develop opportunities for other areas of HCA including equipment financing or syndicated loans. * Gather financial packages and effectively and timely qualify prospects as opportunities or refer to other solution providers. * Prepare and present proposals to prospects and coordinate due diligence with credit team upon acceptance. * Manage overall transaction execution processes related to opportunities originated, including counterparty negotiations and related communications. Credit * Have a clear understanding of HBF's credit guidelines, lending requirements, and operational procedures. * Help prescreen, price, and structure loan transactions, including preparation of credit write up and financial presentation for loan approval. * Work closely with credit staff to obtain approval for new prospect opportunities and coordinate communication with prospect to onboard and close new clients. Miscellaneous * Maintain relationships with portfolio clients. * Effectively manage time commitments and scheduling of meetings along with maintaining CRM database and administrative functions related to prospect pipeline and tracking of weekly activity compared to goal targets. * Understand lending market and economic conditions that can impact client performance and marketing strategy. * Collaborate with marketing staff to create messaging for product awareness and sales origination strategies. * Utilize sales systems and marketing resources to accomplish outreach objectives. Responsibility and Decision Making Authority: * Act independently; Decision making within company policy. Management/Supervisory Responsibilities: * N/A Qualifications/Competencies: * Will have an established network of origination sources and channels. * Proven ability to effectively sell the HBF value proposal of being a non-bank specialty finance company, with focus on speed, certainty, and tailored deal structuring. * Strong knowledge of underwriting, structuring, and documentary requirements related to senior secured revolving and term commercial lending products, including ABL, factoring, and syndicated loans. * Well versed in both collateralized asset based and cash flow underwriting practices, including credit/financial evaluation and cash flow projection analysis. * Ability to negotiate deal proposals and structures, while adhering to corporate objectives. * Good understanding of multiple industry dynamics and how economic conditions impact credit quality and structure. * Adept at working with executives to develop long lasting partnering relationships * Strong client relations, time management, and presentation skills * Well-developed computer software skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Salesforce, etc.) * Strong writing and verbal skills * Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills * Team player with a positive attitude * Detail oriented * Self-Starter * Comfortable with social media outreach. Education and Experience: * 15 years' experience as a senior level marketing professional in the commercial lending industry with a strong track record of originating and closing ABL and senior secured loan transactions. * Completion of credit training and/or financial management program with financial institution preferred. * BA/BS in Business, finance or economics; Masters or MBA is preferred. * Participation with several industry specific and financial trade associations is preferred. Working Hours: * Hours may vary and will require evening work depending on business needs. Travel: Travel on an as needed basis to visit clients across U.S. and attendance at conferences.
