Loan Processing Specialist
A Loan Processing Specialist reviews and processes commitment, new loan, renewal loan system set up for Commercial, Commercial Real Estate, Wealth Management, Managed Assets Department, Retail, and Community Lending portfolios; Processes loan payments, advances and maintenance; Processes transactions related to specialty products.
Monitors and processes loan requests and inquiries submitted in the Loan Operations mail box such as loan payments, advances, maintenance and research including reconciling items from the loan control account and the review of Teller Reports for backdating process.
Reviews committee approvals ("CAP") for all loan portfolios to determine correct hierarchy set up on loan system and review documents submitted by the Loan Document Analyst ("LDA") to ensure accurate interpretation. Process system changes including non-accruals, charge-off and Other Real Estate Owned ("OREO") transactions.
Ensures proper booking of new commercial and consumer loans, renewals, amendments and letter of credit including the earnings of all loan fees/costs in accordance to Financial Accounting Standards and Financial Management policy.

Provides customer service to external and internal customers.
Process special handling accounts- over advance, protective advances, SWAP, SBA, etc. Maintains and process escrow payments. Makes property tax payments to various counties and performs annual escrow analysis.
Creates and processes payoff letters for all portfolios. Assists with the process escrow maintenance and property tax payments to various counties and HELOC stop payments.
Responsible for the maintenance and research of all credit bureau disputes to be in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Reports SBA Colson Reporting on a monthly basis.
3 years experience in financial services
Office or teller experience; loan operations and loan documentation experience a plus
High school diploma or equivalent required
General computer skills
