The Loan Partner is responsible for supporting a high producing Loan Originator or team of Loan Originator by working on the front end of the sales process. The Loan Partner is also responsible for developing personal business pipeline.
Work up applications and loan scenarios for delegated Loan Originator(s).
Call on existing leads to generate business.
Generate appointments for the Loan Originator with referral partners and prospect referral partners.
Develop personal business through proactive outreach to network
For personal production, execute all phases of the loan origination process by taking applications, qualifying borrowers, pricing up scenarios, gaining borrower commitment, gathering borrower documents and signed disclosures, submitting loans to processing and clearing customer conditions.
Demonstrate working knowledge of TCF and TCF Home Loans products, policies and procedures.
Knowledgeable of TCF Home Loan lending products, underwriting criteria and loan process.
Expert level ability to learn how to operate in our origination system, pricing engine and CRM system(s).
Informed on all services offered by the Bank.

High School Diploma
Strong knowledge of lending products and process
Possess working knowledge of consumer lending regulations
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills
NMLS registration required
Four-year college degree in business, marketing or finance
Able to pass our background requirements for MLO
5 years in the mortgage industry
This position requires NationalMortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.EAct of 2008 and Regulation Z. You will be subject to the requiredregistration process, which includes a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain any of the NMLS registration requirements,including maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record, may result ina rescission of your offer or termination of employment.
