The Position:

The Loan Partner I will oversee database management, scheduling of the Loan Officer and have ownership of the file until leads are converted or permanently canceled. This position will be in direct communication with Clients, Realtors, Builders, and Business Partners. This position requires time management, precise verbal and written communication and working knowledge of all loan type basics.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Calendar
    • Schedule all appointments on Loan Officers calendar
    • Have face to face meetings with borrowers when requested by the Loan Officer
    • Confirm all appointments 1 day prior, and follow up as needed
    • Answer all incoming phone calls and follow up by the end of the day
    • Call all TBDs on Wednesday
  • Be responsible for the lead tracker
    • Call leads back within 1 hour
    • Add all leads to the lead tracker
    • Continuously update the referral source every time you attempt/make contact with a lead
    • Bring two copies of lead tracker to each team meeting
    • Maintain a 35% or higher conversion rate from lead to appointment
    • Provide borrower with a verbal list of materials to bring to appointments
    • Email appointment confirmations to agents, borrowers, and team leaders, including a list of necessary documents, directions, testimonials
    • Routinely print credit reports and prepare for appointments
  • Other Operations
    • Complete Dannie Mae Form 1003
    • Pull Credit Reports
    • Send pre-approval letters to clients
    • Request initial documentation from borrower
    • Create and update corporate income worksheet as needed
    • Run DU/LP/GUS
    • Complete any assigned checklists
    • Hand off communication to borrower re-introducing the Loan Partner I.
    • Communicate with team members all information pertaining to client to the LP1 to meet client expectations
    • Study investor guidelines to educate yourself on the product types we offer
  • Other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week and overtime as required
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook applications
  • Proficient in DU/DO, LP, & major Origination systems
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be dependable, self-motivated and require minimal supervision
  • Must be able to calculate income
  • Must be detail orientated
  • Minimum one (1) year of customer service and/or sales experience
  • Minimum one (1) year of mortgage processing, underwriting, originating or combination of all aspects
  • Must be registered and licensed through NMLS

Working Conditions:

  • Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequent near vision use for reading and computer use
  • Flexibility to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • May be requested to work overtime and weekends

Throughout the lending process, we provide regular loan updates and progress reports so you always know the status of your loan.<br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Position:</strong></p><p>As a Mortgage Loan Processor, you must at all times deliver an exceptional customer service attitude, be highly motivated, organized and detail oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high volume and deadline-oriented environment.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Essential Functions and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul> <li> <strong>Review</strong> AUS findings to determine documentation needed for loan submission.</li> <li> <strong>Conduct</strong> thorough review and evaluation of borrower loan file: Credit reports and supporting information, income documentation / income calculation worksheet along with employment verification, asset documentation, purchase contracts, title reports, insurance and flood information and appraisals.</li> <li> <strong>Order</strong> / request credit supplements, appraisal revisions, title &amp; escrow documents, SSA verification, flood cert, and 4506-T verification, VVOE’s.</li> <li> <strong>Order</strong> Certificates of Eligibility, familiarity with: the Tidewater process, residual and net income calculations to complete the VA Loan Analysis, VAIRRL requirements and calculations/worksheets.</li> <li> <strong>Obtain</strong> and accurately analyze escrow documents including: vesting, amendments, payoff demands, purchase addendum</li> <li> <strong>Analyze</strong> underwriting conditions and request necessary items. Clearly and quickly communicate to the loan team what is needed from the borrowers, Escrow &amp; Title and items you are working to obtain and follow up as needed.</li> <li> <strong>Request</strong>, review and balance to HUD (Closing Disclosure effective 10/3/15) prior to ordering loan documents.</li> <li> <strong>Review</strong> and satisfy prior to funding and post-closing conditions when required.</li> <li>Full knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines, particularly GFE, TIL, and Estimated HUD (Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure effective 10/3/15). Ability to re- disclose and accurately complete Change in Circumstance when needed, meeting required disclosure waiting periods.</li> <li>Familiarity with MI types and terms. Experience requesting and analyzing MI certs and submitting for MI underwriting approval.
