Position Summary:

The Loan Servicing/Construction Specialist is responsible for the maintenance and servicing of all post booking loan requests. The position will act as a liaison with all the other internal departments to facilitate a smooth and pleasant post-closing experience for the Borrower.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Servicing of Construction Loans in conformance with policies and procedures.

  • Perform loan maintenance in our core system, researching and resolving loan issues, line advances, loan payments, loan payoff letters, loan codes and documentation requests.

  • Respond to routine customer inquiries efficiently and accurately.

  • Management of Flood and Insurance policies, monitor and pay taxes as applicable, UCC management, title management.

  • GL Recon and commercial workout invoice management

  • Maintain a high level of quality control and adhere to State, Federal and Bank regulatory and loan policy requirements.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Understanding of all the commercial loan products and services

  • High level of customer service to assist internal and external customers with loan issues and concerns, understanding their sense of urgency and able to respond and solve issues in a timely manner.

  • Ability to work on multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of Commercial Insurance and/or titling procedures

  • Knowledge of SBA 1502 reporting

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 2 years commercial construction or loan servicing or 4 years of operational or retail experience

  • Microsoft experience

  • Experience with COCC, CSC, Wolters Kluwer preferred but not required. Self-starter, multitasker

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Travel:

Availability to travel on short notice to meet immediate business needs may be required.
