Westview Financial Services has a full-time LOAN OFFICER position available immediately in the Greenbrier area of Chesapeake, Virginia. Our office provides personal loans, bill consolidation loans, home improvement loans and automobile loans with a one-on-one approach and we are looking for an individual to join our team and assist with this process.

The duties for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Sell loans and insurance products
  • Review credit applications and make recommendations regarding the applicant's
  • Credit worthiness
  • Close loans
  • Service loans
  • Collect delinquent accounts
  • Answer the phones and greet customers as well as administrative duties
  • Accept customer payments
  • Order supplies as needed
  • Accounts payable

The hours for this position are as follows:

  • Monday -- 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
  • Tuesday -- 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Wednesday -- 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
  • Thursday -- 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
  • Friday -- 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

Requirements

The qualifications for this position are:

  • A minimum of two years of experience directly related in a similar industry
  • Strong customer service skills -- must be customer service oriented
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and be flexible regarding your schedule and workload
  • A self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
  • Must be a solutions-oriented individual
  • Ability to work well with others
  • A basic knowledge of accounting is helpful for this position

The FSO is responsible for all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), both physical and non-tangible, protecting classified information and company assets. The FSO sees the overall security program as a business discriminator to the organization and the corporation. The FSO objectively and professionally conduct investigations regarding sensitive issues and violations of written policies internal and external to the organization. FSO will issue disciplinary guidance based on the graduated scale of disciplinary action as required by the 32 CFR.</p><p>Facility Security Officer (FSO) duties</p><ul><li><p>Serve as the Facility Security Officer for Chesapeake, VA organization, and responsible for the overall industrial security program</p></li><li><p>Process new employee security clearances</p></li><li><p>Track security clearance investigations and perform administrative support functions to include DISS and eQIP administration</p></li><li><p>Review of required forms, process and screen of security forms (SF86) of various background investigations, and associated paperwork for accuracy</p></li><li><p>Provide security briefings, debriefings, and awareness training for site personnel</p></li><li><p>Process necessary badge requests for L3Harris employees</p></li><li><p>Processing outgoing and incoming visit requests and certifications</p></li><li><p>Review the details and requirements issued in formal DD254 contracts.</p></li><li><p>Implement security policy and direction consistent with the Company and Government regulations</p></li><li><p>Provide answers/analyses to address questions and concerns from management.</p></li><li><p>Maintain the security database of classified holdings</p></li><li><p>Conduct the NISP annual inspections and DCSA security assessments</p></li><li><p>Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed.</p></li></ul><p>NISPOM Compliance</p><ul><li><p>Use an analytical and risk-management based approach for the implementation of the security program.</p></li><li><p>Provide briefings through public speaking, facilitated trainings, and written guidance.</p></li><li><p>Process and protect personally identifiable information (PII) and other sensitive, personal information with regards to reporting responsibilities in a professional manner.</p></li><li><p>Effectively apply physical and procedural security measures with minimal impact to business operations.</p></li><li><p>Prepare, maintain and protect official records auditable by U.S. Government representatives.</p></li><li><p>Ensure facility maintains a DCSA satisfactory rating by adherence to the NISPOM policies and best practices and other government requirements.</p></li></ul><p>Asset Protection</p><ul><li><p>Maintain, audit and evaluate industrial security program to provide a safe and secure environment to protect employees and company assets.</p></li><li><p>Oversee automated access control and intrusion detection systems.</p></li><li><p>Manage access of support vendors, consultants, and contactors to the facility.</p></li><li><p>Team with and formalize security program with other organizations, especially Export Control, Facilities, and Information Technology.</p></li><li><p>Interact with functional business groups, senior management, and government representatives.</p></li><li><p>Represent the business unit when interacting with senior L3Harris executives, site management, and government representatives on security and asset protection issues.</p></li><li><p>Use team-concept approach as part of NISP review in response to information requests.</p></li><li><p>Liaison with local and federal law enforcement, federal investigators, and emergency response personnel.</p></li><li><p>Interpret and administer existing policies and develop, document, implement, and communicate revisions to existing policies or new policies, processes, and procedures Education &amp; Training</p></li><li><p>Develop educational programs and preside over training sessions for all employees with regard to security.</p></li><li><p>Provide continuing education and training programs such as briefings and newsletters.</p></li><li><p>Manage foreign travel safety and reporting program.</p></li><li><p>Produce and conduct monthly departmental briefings</p></li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li><p>Secret Clearance</p></li><li><p>Education</p></li></ul><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree.</li></ul><ul><li>Experience</li></ul><ul><li>Minimum 12 years' experience in a related field preferred.</li></ul><ul><li><p>FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities certification</p></li><li><p>Must be a US Citizen.</p></li><li><p>Pre-employment federal level drug screening and background checks are standard.</p></li><li><p>L3Harris is an e-Verify Employer.</p></li></ul><p>Preferred Additional Skills:</p><ul><li><p>Experience with international customers and reviewing security classification guidance letters.
