What you'll do:

AmeriHome Consumer Direct Loan Officers receive a large number of calls from clients directly from our portfolio. Our Loan Officers build rapport, analyze financial situations and determine the appropriate loan product to meet our client's goals. Our customers' experience is our primary focus and our Loan Officers are required to have best-in-class customer service skills.

What we are looking for:

Responsibilities

• Speak with borrowers to assess their loan requirements. Consult with clients on loan options that are best suited for their needs; clearly present benefits and options

• Be the go-to person for the borrower throughout the loan application process

• Ensure a seamless and smooth process for the client by building a strong partnership with the operations team

• Utilize technology to multitask and manage a large pipeline

• Maintain pre-established daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (Key performance indicators)

• Any task or responsibility requested by any AmeriHome Managing Director, the EVP Retail Lending or any SVP Retail Lending.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

• 3-4 years of high-level mortgage experience (experience in post-closing is a plus)

• 2+ Years of proven successful consumer lending sales experience working with Government and Agency products

• Proficiency in Excel and Word

• Proficiency with Encompass (LOS) and Velocify (CRM)

• Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills (Bi-lingual fluency a plus)

• Must have strong sales and closing techniques

• Ability to take initiative and responsibility

• Strong problem-solving ability with multiple systems and scenarios

• Organizational skills and attention to detail

Compensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $16.50 - $16.50 for Irvine, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.
