Loan Officer

My client is a full-service mortgage lender looking to add a Loan Officer to their team. This person will be responsible for guiding clients through the process of applying for, qualifying for, and securing a mortgage loan, assessing the financial needs of individuals or businesses, recommending loan products, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the loan process.

Key Responsibilities: Generate leads and build relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources. Collect necessary documentation (income, credit history, assets, etc.) from applicants.

Maintain communication with clients throughout the loan process, ensuring they understand the steps involved Work closely with the processing and underwriting teams to ensure smooth progression of the loan Coordinate with title companies, real estate agents, and other involved parties to facilitate timely loan closing Qualifications: Education: A high school diploma is required, though a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is often preferred. Licensing: Must hold a valid Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license, in accordance with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). Experience: Previous experience as a loan officer or in a similar role within the mortgage industry is highly preferred.
