Loan Officer Assistant

Join our Franklin, TN team as a Loan Officer Assistant, where you will be the driving force behind ensuring loan files are complete, customers are prequalified, and loans close seamlessly. Collaborate with not only Loan Officers but others involved in the loan closing process.

This is a hybrid role, two (2) days at home and three (3) in the office.

What you will do:

• Prepare preliminary loan packages and prequalify customers

• Coordinate loan closings and maintain databases

• Assist with marketing campaigns to enhance outreach

• Handle administrative tasks to facilitate smooth operations

• Communicate with customers and loan officers regarding loan status

• Proactively contribute to team efforts to achieve company goals

• Embrace and embody Fairway values in all interactions and decisions

• Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and cultural alignment

• Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for

• 3+ years of mortgage experience, mortgage lending or sales preferred

• Active NMLS Number a plus

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Solid understanding of loan requirements and real estate lending regulations

• Proficiency in customer service best practices

• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
