Target Range:

$16.85/hr. - $19.00/hr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

About This Job

The Loan Officer Assistant works alongside designated Mortgage Loan Officers in a fast paced, sales environment. This position involves supporting a team in the Loan Origination and Operations process as well as performing daily administrative tasks in a timely, complete and accurate fashion, per the company's policies, procedures, and expectations.

Consumer Direct Lending provides low-cost financing secured by 1-4 unit residences to high credit quality customers that are acquired through data strategies, lead aggregators, web marketing, direct mail, consumer credit mining services and cross-sell. Consumer Direct Lending is an efficient, scalable business for customer acquisition, cross sell and retention.

• Follow up with assigned clients at all times, keeping them informed of open items needed for initial underwriting.

• Provide excellent customer service skills with clients and applicants to ensure client retention, promptly respond to client questions and concerns within 24 hours of request.

• Provide support to Mortgage Loan Originators (MLO) and the mortgage origination process of Consumer Direct Lending.

• Prepare and send an initial needs list to the applicant that defines the necessary documents required for the underwriting of the applicant's credit qualifications.

• Properly prepare files for submission to underwriting, completing the necessary tasks expected per LOA Submission Checklist.

• Perform administrative functions in the Loan Origination system to complete required activities of the mortgage application and origination process. Accurately review applicant's income documentation (pay stubs, W2's, Award Letters, Tax Returns) and follow up with applicant to collect necessary documents in an expedited manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma required, Bachelors Degree preferred
