Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Wholesale Loan Services has an opening for a Loan Documentation Specialist 4 in Denver, Colorado!

This position will be responsible for performing a variety of loan documentation duties on complex loan packages to ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures for loan products. This person will perform in a high volume and time sensitive environment, which relates to the loan documentation process with a high degree of accuracy and control. This person will manage workflow while exercising limited judgment within standard policies and procedures.

Functions include:

  • Review and process property/hazard insurance policies

  • Research and review loan documents to identify collateral securing commercial loans

  • Processing, closing and compliance for loan products

  • Interpreting and inputting data

  • Analyzing reports

  • Contacting internal/external customers for information

  • Researching moderately complex loan documentation problems

  • Interpreting policies while analyzing applicant, property and documentation

  • Ordering all required verifications, documentation and subsequent follow-ups

  • May provide guidance and training to other loan documentation team members

  • May manage an assigned pipeline of loans and/or assign new loans to other loan team members.

  • May act as a liaison between lenders and legal department.

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment

  • 2+ years of commercial loan experience

  • Commercial insurance experience

  • Ability to interact with a diverse team

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Knowledge and understanding of commercial insurance

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy skills

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

  • Strong telephone etiquette skills
