Part of the Operational Excellence model in Small Business Lending Operations, this role is part of a small, cross-functional team aligned with specific markets called a Pod. Pods support the origination process for new and renewal credit requests. Specifically, this role will support the central channel within Small Business Lending.
The Loan Doc Specialist 4 position (Credit Facilitator) will report to the Pod Lead, and will work closely with bankers, underwriters, other pod members, and the customer to originate commercial loans. Duties will include coordinating collection of documents to support a renewal credit decision, confirming all required documents have been provided, ordering and tracking for real estate valuation products, and input to the credit origination platform, for a pipeline of loan requests at various stages in the origination workflow. The Credit Facilitator will have frequent phone and written contact with external customers.
Responsible for performing a variety of loan documentation duties on complex loan packages to ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures for loan products. Functions include: processing, closing and compliance for loan products; interpreting policies while analyzing applicant, property and documentation; ordering all required verifications, documentation and subsequent follow-ups; may provide guidance and training to other loan documentation team members. May manage an assigned pipeline of loans and/or assign new loans to other loan team members. May act as a liaison between lenders and legal department.

Commercial lending experience
