Loan Department Assistant

At Taylor Bank, we strive to help our communities and customers succeed. In this position, you will assist loan processors and loan officers with the administration of residential, commercial and consumer loan duties.

WE ARE SEEKING: An experienced Loan Department Assistant to work in our Berlin, Maryland office (this is not a remote position).

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Uploading new loans into the system

• Processing Payoffs and Releases

• Preparing and filing Certificates of Satisfaction

• Quarterly HMDA and CRA reporting

• Compiling and scanning loan files

• Ensuring client documents are accurate and complete.

• Handling incoming customer calls and inquiries in a professional manner

• Maintaining records

• Other administrative duties

YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Knowledge of compliance with banking regulations and the processing of loan transactions strongly preferred

• Previous experience in an administrative role supporting lenders and loan processors strongly preferred

• Basic math skills and basic knowledge in the Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
