Job Description

Summary: The Loan Boarding Coordinator is responsible for the primary Loan Boarding and Service Release communications between SPS, its clients and the any third party companies they work with. The coordinator will utilize strong verbal skills coupled with a solid Loan Boarding and Service Release background to facilitate scheduled calls to provide updates, answer general procedural questions, and organize and respond to meeting takeaways.

Duties:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and their counter parties

  • Schedule and lead meetings with clients, and their counter parties.

  • Keep track of meeting takeaways, coordinate closure and follow up with responsible parties to ensure they are closed out in a timely manner.

  • Contact prior servicers to follow up on missing or late data when needed.

  • Create and provide scheduled and ad hoc reporting to the client, as needed

  • Adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures as well as direction from management.

  • All other duties as assigned by management.

Specs:

  • Detail oriented with strong communication, organizational and problem solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of Loan Boarding and Service Release Policy & Procedures, Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel. Knowledge and experience in SQL and Access preferred.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

  • Mortgage experience preferred (Loan Boarding and Service Release, payment application, escrow)

  • Ability to maintain calm, positive demeanor while handling multiple projects and/or assignments and meeting deadlines

  • Ability to manage assigned deadlines with little or no supervision.

  • Ability to perform timely and accurately within a fast-paced environment.

Principal Outcomes & Accountabilities of Job:

  • Responsible for communications between SPS and its clients.

  • Responsible for documenting and responding timely to client requests.

  • Provide support to the Loan Boarding and Service Release teams as needed.
