Bank of Marin, voted by our employees as one of the "Best Places to Work" in the North Bay Business Journal, is seeking a Loan Boarding Associate to join our Loan Operations team at our corporate office in Novato.

The Loan Boarding Associate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently inputting all required information into the loan system for all new and renewed loans ensuring proper reporting and servicing. Responsibilities include processing all monetary transactions related to loan funding, ensuring proper disbursement of loan funds and credit to general ledger accounts.

Essential Duties:

  • Review boarding package to ensure that all documents are received, signed and initialed. Research any discrepancies between the credit approval and the loan documents. Organize all loan documents in the appropriate stacking order and file in the legal file.

  • Input all loan, commitment, and note information into the loan system, following all policies and procedures. Review all loan documents for special instructions.

    Verify rate and disbursement instructions. Complete boarding worksheet to verify that all required information and proper coding has been completed and that all applicable fields have been input. Process all monetary transactions required, including all disbursements and fees. Perform lien perfection on various types of collateral.

  • Provide assistance to loan officers and customers by researching and responding to inquiries. Inquiries include researching loan boarding information received through various channels including email, telephone, inter branch and in person.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Professional / Educational Experience: Minimum 1 year of Banking Experience.

Experience in Loan Operations; New Accounts and FIS/Metavante a plus. Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training.

The responsibilities in the role include the following: * Provide quality oversight of one or more portions of operations including, but not limited to; * Direct observation of manufacturing operation for adherence to GMP. * Review of GMP documentation from manufacturing and/ or QC, which can include log books, batch records and test records. * Review of SOP revisions initiated by manufacturing QC, Facilities and Engineering. * Review and approval of quality system records including change requests, deviations and CAPA for the following functional areas: * MFG, QC, Automation, Facilities/Utilities/Equipment (FUE). * Ensure manufacturing and QC adherence to company policies/procedures, regulatory licenses, industry standards, and GMP regulations. Working knowledge of United States and European regulatory requirements, guidelines, and recommendations (additional jurisdictions a plus). * Revise QA related procedures as needed. * Train entry level positions on all activities associated to product disposition.
