SUMMARY

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, complies with all applicable safety policies and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operates front-end loader to load customer trucks.

• Assists with winter repairs at the plant.

• Maintain and repair equipment.

• Cut with cutting torch and weld with stick welder.

• Relay sand as needed.

• Maintain haul roads.

REQUIRED MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Ability to operate general hand tools. Ability to read, write, understand warning labels, instructions, signs, pay attention to details, etc.

Good communication skills required. Ability to interface with customers on a regular basis.

Work requires walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting objects that occasionally weigh up to 100 pounds unassisted and over 100 pounds with help. Ability to climb stairs while carrying up to 50 pounds.

EDUCATION

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Job hazards include frequent exposure to noise, dirt, fumes, heat, cold, and exposure to all weather conditions.
