Ryerson has an opportunity for a Loader position. As a Loader, safety is priority. This role is responsible for operating a forklift and overhead crane

This position is 2nd shift. The hours for this position are Monday

• Friday from 2:00 pm

• 10:00 am.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Safety is a priority - you will learn proper safety measures via online and in-person training

• You start the day reviewing production orders then preparing your material for processing

• You ensure the material meets a customer's expectations by checking the size, finish, and accuracy of the finished product (Measure twice, cut once)

• You will use a crane and/or forklift to move material for outbound shipping

• Check to make sure your machine and station is in working order and identify any issues

• You will keep your work area clean and ensure that all workplace hazards are reported immediately

• Working in a safe manner as outlined during training and use prescribed safety equipment including PPE
