Wintrust Mortgage is presentlylooking for someone to join our team as a Loan Originator Assistant in our Schaumburg location.

This individual will support a President's Circleachiever Loan Originator.

Primaryresponsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Complete loan application data.

  • Initiate loan disclosure; e-sign or wet sign.

  • Work with clients to obtain loan documents.

  • Send completed loan file to Processing.

  • Order appraisals.

  • Weekly pipeline management.

  • Manage loan file conditions.

  • Manageto corporate & executive directives.

  • Implementproduction, productivity, quality and customers-service standards.

  • Other projects and duties assigned as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent certification.

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

  • Minimum of 2 yrs experience in the mortgagelending industry.

  • Must have working knowledge of mortgage loansand or/loan procedures.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal andwritten.

  • Experience with customer service, decision makingand analyzing information.

  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidentialinformation and manage difficult situations.

  • Ability to organize activities, manage priorities,and successfully deliver on multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-pacedenvironment.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and basic knowledgeof Microsoft products.

  • Awareness of Social Media marketing.

This individual will be responsible to establish, mandate and implement standard policies, procedures and best practices across the company to promote compliance with applicable laws and contractual obligations. They will conduct state-specific legal research and monitor changes in requirements to mitigate risks and achieve compliance. Primary Responsibilities: * Coordinate the execution of audits performed by our clients, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and regulatory/government agencies (OIG, GAO, DOI) * Working with the Business Owners and the Auditors to * Determine the appropriate scope, timing and logistics of the audits * Review and interpret audit requirements * Prepare audit requests as required * Monitor audit progress and resolve potential findings as appropriate * Validate and respond to audit findings * Develop and monitor corrective actions * Develop a consistent audit process to ensure all outside audits are effectively managed * Perform monitoring reviews to obtain assurance on compliance * Plan and executing operational and regulatory audits of various areas within the company * Analyze the root cause of issues and helping to develop appropriate action plans * Develop audit reports that accurately summarize the results of reviews * Assist with various projects as directed by the VP of Audit Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * 3 years of Market Conduct examination/DOI expertise (i.e. state audits, market conduct exams, surveys and investigations) * 3 years of experience in audit (operational, financial, and/or IT related) * 3 years of experience in a healthcare regulatory environment * 3 years of experience with HIPAA, state and privacy laws * Strong project management skills * Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint * Ability to manage multiple audits simultaneously while meeting department productivity standards * Ability to interact with regulators and auditors to gain an understanding of audit requirements * Must work well under tight timelines and adapt to change in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment Preferred Qualifications: * Master's degree * Project Management experience * Supervisory experience * Experience leading and implementing a comprehensive compliance program * Experience working with Healthplan, PBM or regulatory agency * Experience with Regulatory standards (federal, state, DOI) * Superior oral, written communication and interpersonal skills * Superior analytical, organizational and problem solving skills Careers with OptumRx.
