Oak Hill Center is actively seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) for our skilled nursing facility in Pawtucket, RI.

DUTIES:

  • Supervises all clinical and administrative functions in the facility

  • Development and implementation of a facility management system

  • Administration, management, supervision and coordination of all departments to ensure quality care

  • Financial management of a health care facility

  • Monitor and maintain facility's compliance with all pertinent State and Federal regulations

  • Oversight of the facility quality assurance process

  • Ensure that individual rights and opportunity for choice exist for all residents

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have current Rhode Island LNHA Certification

  • 4+ years working as an LNHA in a long-term care facility

  • Experience in performance management and effective leadership

  • Proven leadership and management skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Must maintain confidentiality regarding resident and CFSC proprietary information

  • Ability to relate professionally and work cooperatively with residents and staff at all levels

Is responsible for knowing and acting in accordance with the principles of the Lifespan Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct. Provides health education programs consistent with ability education and training. Performs vital signs point of care testing other appropriate screenings and records on indicated form or technology system. Assists RN and/or physician with screening fair event preparation and logistical activities as needed. Reports all unclear or abnormal findings to RN or physician immediately. Assists with follow up for all screening participants with abnormal test results and/or no primary care provider. Assures contact with such individuals until appropriate care provided. Represents the department at community events to provide outreach education and screening services. Acts as resource to staff in the referral service for callers experiencing barriers to accessing care. Performs all procedures using aseptic techniques following standard procedures. Complies with infection control practices in accordance with established hospital and department policies and procedures. Protects and preserves the patient�s right to privacy and confidentiality. Maintains quality assurance safety environmental and infection control in accordance with established hospital department policies procedures and objectives. All essential functions performed in this position respect the age gender language and other cultural and social needs of the patients. Performs other duties as assigned. Other information: BASIC KNOWLEDGE: Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients with consideration of aging processes human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process. High School graduate or equivalent. Completion of formal certified nursing assistant training program with current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Rhode Island. Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients with consideration of aging processes human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process. Bilingual preferred. Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients families physicians staff volunteers and community agencies. EXPERIENCE: Two years� related and progressively responsible clinical and community experience and basic computer skills. Teaching and community health experience preferred. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Community and non-clinical settings. Prolonged standing and walking. May be required to lift push or pull equipment up to 35 pounds.
