Develops and conducts training programs for employees of organization by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages the LMS administration functions including the set-up of user accounts, security permissions, learning/ training user profiles, overall transcript management, removal/ archiving unnecessary training and notifications to ensure that appropriate learning is delivered to the target audience.

  • Assists Management Teams in development and formatting within the LMS (On the Job Training Outlines, Curriculums, Training Matrices, Reporting & External Training).

  • Provides LMS training and support to the organization. Facilitates training of LMS applications, working with other Training Coordinators to achieve the ability to become "Super Administrators."

  • Generates and manages training courses and modules within the LMS that may require online and offsite training for new modules, as needed. Preferred advanced background knowledge of core system architecture.

  • Keeps training department in full communication of all changes and updates within the LMS system.

  • Assists in development of curriculum by updating and uploading online courses in the system to validate course functionality for end users.

  • Researches and resolves LMS functionality issues; work with LMS customer service (ie. Cornerstone), and answers internal help tickets (ie. lmshelp@mubea.com).

  • Creates, develops and maintains reporting for management as directed by the organization to meet business / IATF requirements.

  • Tracks escalated user problems and provides status updates. Logs all problems and solutions.

  • Creates Work, Training & Video Instructions for functionality and backup for LMS.

  • Offers in-person advanced, navigational and system design training classes for all employees directed by management.

  • Audits and monitors data integrity within the LMS.

  • Researches and analyzes data that is recommended to be a best practice solution utilizing LMS, requested by management.

  • Develop and resolve projects based upon management requests. Ability to track, and align delivery of materials to project timelines.

  • Provide support in troubleshooting, investigating and seeking solutions to complex issues related to course design, LMS configuration and infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree, from a college, university or Apprenticeship preferred or one to two years related experience and/or training; Learning Management Software or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Project management, service related, or administrative support industry experience preferable.

  • Detail-oriented.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word).

  • Cornerstone or similar learning management system experience preferred.

  • Must have general understanding or training of 5's, Lock Out Tag Out, Hazcom, Plant Safety, Work instruction Review Training, ISO 14001, HazWaste, and Quality, Materials, RCRA, and Environmental policies and procedures.

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule and off shifts. Bi-weekly coverage on off shifts is required to perform training and audits (2nd and 3rd shift).

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college, university or Apprenticeship preferred or one to two years related experience and/or training; Learning Management Software or equivalent combination of education and experience. Manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Project management, service related, or administrative support industry experience preferable.

  • Experience working in a Germany based (international) organization.

  • Bilingual German/Spanish a plus.
