The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator is responsible for the design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of content, assets, and other resources used for instructional functions. The primary system administrator for the LMS including all system updates and upgrades, as well as tools and software integrated with the LMS. Additionally, provides administrative support and accountability for the LMS including daily administration, reporting, employee inquiries/education on the LMS, and consult with internal customers serving as the subject matter expert for the Learning Management System (LMS) and continuing operations of the system to serve the learning needs of the organization.
Drive strategy and process for curriculum management prioritization, design, Works on assignments dealing with the routine and daily operation, use, and configuration of the LMS.
Manages community areas within the LMS including functionality, appearance/user interface, tabs, and settings.
Continuous user & implementation support, creates user profile/logins, assign user permissions, and manages user structures including the creation of user groups.
Creates and maintain resources (technical procedures and policy documentation) to train and support learners on the LMS functionality, how to login and navigation, how to access course offering, run and review training report/dashboard to manage individual and team development.
Collaborates with the business and HR Business Partner on training needs and opportunities for the expansion of talent development within the organization.
Creates and manages the overall course structure and sets up course programs based on specifications from the instructional designer.
Manage and upload course offerings, setup learning paths, and manage learning certifications.
Works with department leaders to identify and refresh the course asset library.
Manages tracking of course revisions and history.
Publishes and archives online or blended learning solutions, assigns training curricula, and adds and deletes resources.
Builds online assessments, surveys and evaluations in LMS for courses.
Manages course enrollment including progress tracking.
Develops and updates standardized tools and reporting for ongoing access to learning information; generates standard and custom reports.
