Responsibilities LICENSED MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST (LMFT)--Art Therapist BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICESNorthridge Hospital Medical Center The Credential Art Therapist will provide ART Theraphy Groups in an inpatient and outpatient behavioral health setting to adolecents and adults. :LMFT will assist with the daily programs and with social work activities of unit. The LMFT performs assessments and assists with planning the continuum of care throughout the patient's stay and after discharge. Qualifications
California State Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) required.
ATR (Registered Art Therapist) required
Masters Degree from accredited marriage and family program.
Advanced degree with field placement or job experience in hospital, health, mental health or related setting.
Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.
Must possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
