Job Summary
The Maintenance/Turnaround (TA) Planner will become familiar with the refinery organization and work processes while learning refinery safe work practices. This role has the overall responsibilities for safety, environmental, procedure compliance, planning, execution, coordination of engineering, purchasing, budgeting and cost control for maintenance and TA which they are assigned. The incumbent will help drive the planning process and communicate planning and execution status of all associated work ensuring that milestones are met through completion of the project.
Minimum Qualifications
Abilities Needed:

Ability to identify problems to routine work and determine solutions.
Excellent oral and written skills.
Ability to work within a project team environment.
Demonstrated initiative in school and in prior work experience.
Willing to work in an industrial process environment
Eligibility Requirements:
Construction Management Degree
Must have overall GPA of 3.0 or above
Co-Op/Internship experience preferred.
Must have valid driver's license.
Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Eligibility
The Maritime Transportation Security Act requires all persons who will need unescorted access to a regulated facility to have a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), issued in accordance with the rules established by the United States Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration. All candidates must be eligible to receive a TWIC in order to be considered for an offer.

Job Duties
Owners' representative directing contractors who work for CITGO to complete tasks
Review work notifications, develop scope of work, develop detailed, sequenced and manpower loaded plans for coordination and execution of maintenance task
Identify and procure materials in accordance with CITGO specifications and procedures
Support development of the yearly maintenance spending budget (Routine, TA, Major Maintenance Projects and Programs)
Maintain and manage an up-to-date backlog of work to be planned and work that is executable and review these with the requesting departments on a regular basis to prioritize work
Create & maintain equipment history, bills of materials, and task lists within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) SAP
