Integrated Life Choices is seeking Live-In Direct Support Professional (DSP) in the Conroe, Texas area to assist in delivering the best care to 3 people with developmental disabilities, and to help them live independently through every aspect of their daily lives. This job is perfect for a person who is looking to make a difference and supporting others to live a fulfilling life. The DSP will have the opportunity to earn up to $40,000.00 annually. The DSP will have a private, master bedroom and bathroom with utilities and local telephone paid by ILC.

• Ability to work independently

• A level of integrity that motivates doing the right thing, even when no one is watching

• Ability to be flexible and handle change well

• Understanding of responsibility for the safety of the people supported, their teammates, and themselves

• Drive to encourage people who are working towards goals, understanding that achieving those goals comes in a series of ups and downs, wins and losses, three steps forward and one step back

• An understanding of the importance of consistency for the people ILC supports

The schedule includes:

Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM-8:00 AM

Saturday & Sunday from 6:00 AM-Midnight (Clock out during sleep hours)

Employee will have 2 weekends off per month (1 weekend per pay period)

• Teaching skills to expand a person's independence

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment

• Administering medications

• Documenting program data at each shift

Applicants MUST be 19 years of age, have a High School Diploma or GED, possess a valid Driver's License, current car insurance, and be able to pass all background checks.
