As a Live Event Manager - Radios, you will be responsible for technical leadership of the two-way radio deployment at live events. You will work closely with Rental National Account Managers (RNAMs), Project Managers and customers. You will run an event from deployment of the equipment to the return of equipment. The LEM will work closely with the Project Managers & RNAMs to build the Statement Of Work (SOW). Once the SOW is approved by the customer, it is the responsibility of the Live Event Manager to execute to installation plan and provide technical support for radio during the event.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy temporary radio systems at large live event venues.

• Set up and troubleshoot RF systems.

• Make decisions in real time addressing technical radio issues and customer needs.

• Program and manage radio fleet

• Maintain a clean and organized event trailer or designated office space at all times during event.

• Inventory control of radios, including distribution/return and documenting lost inventory.

• Deescalate customer conflicts if, and when they arise.

• Multi-task and work under specific time constraints.

• Drive event truck and trailer to and from events.

• Manage BearCom inventory and assets used to support customer events.

• Post event reporting to BearCom account manager after each event - inventory used, not returned, outline of event issues and resolutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. and work at events for up to 12 hours per day.

• Must have a goal-achieving and over-performing mindset dedicated to excellence.

• Must be a team player and self-starter who takes complete ownership for their results and thrives in a fast-paced business.

• Must be able to cultivate strong internal and external relationships by being an active listener who gives full attention to both internal and external customers.

• Must be resourceful in developing successful solutions to complicated problems.

• Must be able to learn new products and services.

• Must have strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.

• Must be able to remain professional at all times while on customer site.

• Must be able to travel extensively in the U.S.

• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam.

• Drug screenings and background checks are part of the hiring process, which may include a Motor Vehicle Record check.
