Legal secretary with 2-3 years of defense litigation experience needed to support trial attorneys. Responsibilities: - Drafting correspondence, memoranda, legal documents

  • Maintaining attorney calendars and case files

  • Prioritizing deadlines

  • Scheduling appointments

  • Recording timekeeping entries

  • Providing additional support as necessary Ideal candidate will have: -Outstanding organizational skills

  • Eye for detail

  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy, dependability, and exceptional judgment on

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy, dependability, and exceptional judgment on daily basis

  • Initiative

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Willingness to accept new challenges Must have knowledge of local and Federal court forms and procedures and e-Filing as well as strong PC/MS Word skills. Document management program skills a plus. BA/BS or Associates degree or equivalent field required. 2 years of litigation experience preferred.
