Microsoft's Litigation Team, within Microsoft Corporate, External and Legal Affairs (CELA) in Redmond, Washington, is looking for a Litigation Paralegal with a passion for technology and innovation who would enjoy working on diverse and challenging investigations and cases, primarily related to antitrust law, that span across Microsoft's product groups and businesses.
You will be responsible for conducting factual investigations, managing all phases of discovery, and working directly with clients, in-house/outside counsel, vendors, regulators, and opposing counsel. You will partner with the Competition and Market Regulation Group to support their discovery needs on antitrust regulatory investigations, including mergers, drawing on the sophisticated e-discovery capabilities of the Litigation Team. You will also need to work independently on multiple projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Required/Minimum Qualifications
Associate's Degree AND 1+ years experience as a Litigation Paralegal in a law firm or in-house litigation department as primary support on significant lawsuits
OR 3+ years experience as a Litigation Paralegal in a law firm or in-house litigation department as primary support on significant lawsuits
Microsoft platform proficiency
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Degree AND 3+ years experience as a Litigation Paralegal in a law firm or in-house litigation department as primary support on significant lawsuits
3+ years relevant in-house experience.
Experience with regulatory investigations and commercial litigation processes, including document review, document productions, and discovery responses;
Experience in corporate litigation, competition law, and regulatory matters;
Sound judgment and well-reasoned decision making skills;
Ability to work independently on multiple projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, and able to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines and adjust to workload fluctuations;
Paralegal IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $64,700 - $119,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $89,000 - $134,400 per year.

Direct partnership with in-house attorneys and outside counsel on investigative or litigation strategy and case management, with deep accountability for the overall investigation and discovery response process and general case support needs.
Manage preservation obligations associated with active and anticipated investigations, lawsuits and other legal requests; identify relevant custodians, data stewards, and repositories; draft, issue, and track compliance with legal hold notices.
Conduct legal research and analysis on various topics related to the company's products, services, and operations as they pertain to your assigned matters and our active docket at large.
Direct interaction with clients and executives while assisting in the identification, preservation, collection, review, and production of relevant data.
Respond to regulatory agency Civil Investigative Demands and subpoenas, and third-party subpoenas.
Active participation in witness interviews, deposition preps, and team meetings.
Drive consistent adherence and appropriate evolution of in-house processes, surfacing issues and contributing to solutions.
Maintain internal SharePoint sites, tracking logs, and databases.
Coordinate with support vendors.
Maintain electronic litigation files.
Provide support and guidance to other departments on legal issues and compliance matters.
