We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our personal injury and workers' compensation team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our attorney on all aspects of litigation, from case inception to resolution. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, is detail-oriented, and can think critically in a fast-paced environment.

As a startup, we’re still building our processes and infrastructure—so we’re looking for someone who can adapt, contribute, and help us refine our operations. What You’ll Do: Provide legal support throughout the litigation process, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.

Review medical records and draft chronologies. Communicate directly with clients, insurance companies, courts, and medical providers. Manage cases from start to finish—overseeing deadlines, tracking tasks, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

Assist in deposition scheduling, IME appointment scheduling, intake, case evaluations, and issuing subpoenas. Organize and maintain electronic case files, ensuring everything is up to date and accessible. Support the preparation for hearings, trials, and mediations, from document drafting to witness coordination.

Be a key part of our case strategy by helping attorneys and clients stay informed at every step. Prepare and send correspondence and legal documents through mail, fax, and email as needed. Provide general administrative support to attorneys and the legal team, assisting with daily operations to ensure smooth workflow.

What You Bring: Experience: 2-5 years of paralegal experience in personal injury and workers' compensation is essential for this role. We need someone who can hit the ground running and contribute from day one Attention to Detail:

You have a keen eye for detail and pride yourself on accuracy—especially in complex cases. Critical Thinking: You can dive into a case, review available files thoroughly, and connect the dots to provide valuable insights.

Tech Savvy: You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat/Power PDF, and OneDrive. You’re proficient in using case management software to track and monitor tasks, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently.

Familiarity with e-filing (Maryland, DC, PACER) is required. Organized and Proactive: You excel at managing multiple priorities, taking initiative, and anticipating attorney needs before they arise.

Communication Skills: Whether it's written or verbal, you’re a clear and effective communicator with clients, colleagues, and external contacts. Calendar Management:

You can skillfully manage scheduling for court dates, client meetings, depositions, and other important events. Adaptability: You’re willing to jump in and handle necessary administrative tasks that keep the office running smoothly. Proactive: You have a forward-thinking approach, taking initiative to anticipate the needs of attorneys and addressing them before they arise.
