Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage a case load of 50-75 cases

  • Accurately draft demand letters, pleadings, discovery and various motions

  • Continually communicate with clients, counsel, experts, and courts

  • Audit cases for all expenses (medical bills, case expenses, LOP providers, subrogation liens)

  • Accurately maintain case management data in FileVine (case management database)

  • Prepare trial documents and assist with trial preparation

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Proficient in personal injury law involving motor vehicle collisions

  • Proficient in preparing discovery responses

  • Detail oriented with a focus on grammar and language arts

  • Professional appearance and behavior

  • Working knowledge of common deadlines and protocols of personal injury litigation

  • Trucking experience preferred

  • Strong trucking paralegals with a knowledgeable background in the states of Texas, Illinois, and Georgia

Job Requirements

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills on the phone, in person and email

  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and critical thinking abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Case Management software (FileVine preferred)

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred in a plaintiff's personal injury law firm, 5+ years experience preferred

Working Conditions

Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions. Some overtime may be required in order to timely accomplish work demands.
