Key Responsibilities
Effectively manage a case load of 50-75 cases
Accurately draft demand letters, pleadings, discovery and various motions
Continually communicate with clients, counsel, experts, and courts
Audit cases for all expenses (medical bills, case expenses, LOP providers, subrogation liens)
Accurately maintain case management data in FileVine (case management database)
Prepare trial documents and assist with trial preparation
Desired Skills & Experience
Proficient in personal injury law involving motor vehicle collisions
Proficient in preparing discovery responses
Detail oriented with a focus on grammar and language arts
Professional appearance and behavior
Working knowledge of common deadlines and protocols of personal injury litigation
Trucking experience preferred
Strong trucking paralegals with a knowledgeable background in the states of Texas, Illinois, and Georgia
Job Requirements
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills on the phone, in person and email
Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and critical thinking abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Case Management software (FileVine preferred)
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred in a plaintiff's personal injury law firm, 5+ years experience preferred
Working Conditions
Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions. Some overtime may be required in order to timely accomplish work demands.
