Litigation Paralegal

Our growing personal injury law firm located in the Mid-Wilshire area seeks a Litigation Paralegal / Secretary who wants to be part of our growing group. The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of our litigation personal injury practice, and meet the following responsibilities and qualifications:

RESPONSIBILITIES: Record and store client information Work with Attorneys through the litigation process Keep clients informed during discovery Manage litigation calendar and court deadlines File pleadings and motions in accordance with court rules and statutes Assist attorneys in all aspects of discovery Assist attorneys in preparing pre-trial binders and exhibits Maintain constant communication with all entities related to the case QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION: Previous experience with responding to discovery preferred Familiarity with personal injury law Ability to spot legal issues in other areas Familiarity with statutes, codes, local rules, etc. Ability to manage caseload effectively Effective time management Attention to detail and logical thinking Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent Calendar skills Team player mentality Mac Savvy is a plus Spanish-speaking is a plus Paralegal Certificate is highly preferred Excellent grammar and typing skills BENEFITS & PERKS:
