Litigation Paralegal

Company Description Jackson, MS based law firm, Brown Bass & Jeter, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal. Candidate having experience with insurance defense and plaintiff-based work is a plus.

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Jackson, MS for a Litigation Paralegal at Brown Bass & Jeter, PLLC. The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for supporting attorneys in all phases of litigation, including drafting legal documents, organizing and managing case files, conducting legal research, and assisting in trial preparation. Qualifications Completion of an accredited paralegal program or equivalent work experience Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation related to litigation Excellent research, organizational, and communication skills Proficiency in legal research tools and software Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and strong time management skills Experience with eDiscovery software is a plus Understanding of court rules and filing procedures
