Key Responsibilities · Assist attorneys and paralegals through secretarial and clerical duties including: planning meetings, client communication, and scheduling · Receive and screen telephone calls, answer questions and provide information to inquiring parties · Prepare and draft legal documents for attorney review · Communicate with clients regarding the scheduling of mediation and depositions Desired Skills & Experience · Proficient in personal injury law involving motor vehicle accidents · Excellent organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail · Exceptional verbal and written communication skills · Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion dealing with confidential information · Professional appearance and behavior · Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and critical thinking abilities Job Requirements · Exceptional verbal and written communication skills on the phone, in person and email · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Case Management software (Filevine preferred) Education Requirements • High school diploma or GED; college degree or paralegal certification a plus Working Conditions Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions. Some overtime may be required in order to timely accomplish work demands.
