Job Description Job Description Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Legal Assistant to join our client's dynamic insurance defense team.

The ideal candidate will support our attorneys in managing complex litigation cases, providing crucial assistance throughout the litigation process. Key Responsibilities: Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting and filing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

Conduct legal research and gather relevant information from various sources. Organize and maintain case files, ensuring that all documents are accurate and up-to-date. Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and client meetings.

Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel to gather information and provide updates on case status. Manage and track case deadlines and ensure timely filing of documents. Prepare trial binders and exhibits, and assist with trial preparation and support.

Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Assistant Certification, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in insurance defense or litigation. Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and court rules.

Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Details: Employment type: Direct Hire Compensation: $50,000-57,500 Firm offers benefits such as medical, dental, etc.
