Litigation Legal Assistant

Adams & Martin Group is working with an insurance defense firm focused on personal and catastrophic injury. The firm is looking for a dedicated and experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join the team.

Qualifications: 3 years as a civil litigation legal assistant or secretary in a fast-paced law firm (personal injury experience preferred). Self-starter with a proactive work ethic. Proficient in case intake/opening, deadline management, and attorney support. Experienced with filing/service in California superior, federal, and appellate courts.

Knowledgeable in pleadings, discovery, expert designation, depositions, and trial-triggered deadlines. Comfortable with client and insurance carrier communications. Trial preparation experience, including preparing, filing, and serving trial documents, motions, and exhibit binders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). Note: This is not a Paralegal hybrid role. Benefits: Casual dress code everyday Emphasis on work-life balance; overtime not required.
