LIQUITERIA BAR EMPLOYEE

The Gelson's Markets Liquiteria bar employee's primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional experience to all customers by creating the best tasting smoothies and juices while following all standard operating procedures and guidelines to include following recipes, chopping, cutting and slicing fresh fruits and vegetables and blending products using the appropriate machinery. The Liquiteria bar employee will also be responsible for processing all customer transactions at the Liquiteria bar while following all company guidelines for accurate and efficient checkout service possible by processing the sales transactions including cash, checks, credit and EFT transaction. Prior checking experience is a plus.
As a Gelson's Markets Liquiteria bar employee, you will be first in line to ensure product quality by verifying refrigeration temperatures and following all department HACCP standards. The Liquiteria bar employee may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds by carrying cartons of produce. HACCP training is required.
The Gelson's Markets Liquiteria bar employee will come in direct contact with our customers. Excellent customer service, attentive listening and resourceful assistance are crucial. The ability to interact and communicate effectively with customers and all levels of staff within Gelson's Markets is mandatory. The Gelson's Liquiteria bar employee must possess strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
All positions start at part time. Pay rate will be dependent on experience.
Experience within the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
Continuous hand manipulation including, grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation
Reaching above and at shoulder level frequently
Standing up to 8 hours per day
Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. frequently
Chopping, cutting and slicing fresh fruits and vegetables
Working near and with hazardous machinery (blenders, knives)
Walking on uneven ground (Floor mats)
Exposure to extremes in temperature (Coolers & freezers)
