Responsible for overseeing the activities relating to manufacture, bottling, labeling, warehousing and shipping of a liquids manufacturing facility.
Supervise production supervisors and leads to maximize productivity and ensure personnel are aware and trained in complying with operating procedures
Develop and enforce procedures, systems and methods to enhance productivity
Work with various functional teams to follow production schedules and product requirements
Recommends new manufacturing equipment and maintenance of existing to help improve and automate production process.
Extracts and manipulates information and data from various computer applications.
Follows computer systems to insure all data inputted and utilized is correct and in compliance with company IT systems.
Supervise and oversee compliance with all certifications of the facility, such as Organic Certifications.
Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
May be required to work swing shift hours occasionally.
Bachelor's Degree from a college or technical school required; with two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.
Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as unit of measure conversion, English to metric conversion and working ability to use specific gravity calculations
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Employee must obtain and maintain a current food handler's permit.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The employee must exert up to 50lbs. of force, move drums, and/or up to 40 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force to move objects.
Must be able to climb stairs while carrying a 40 lb load.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, and field of vision.
