Job Overview As a SME Linux Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing our Linux servers and systems.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our Linux-based solutions. Located in San Diego, CA. Salary- $120,000 yearly Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions:

Configure, administer, and maintain SME servers and systems. Implement security measures to safeguard Linux-based assets and data. Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly.

Perform routine system updates, patches, and upgrades. Monitor system performance and proactively adjust ensure optimal functionality. Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation and standard operating procedures.

Providing technical support and guidance to end-users and colleagues. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Mandatory:

High school diploma or equivalent. Six (6) years of experience in SME Linux administration. Proficiency in configuring and managing SME servers and systems.

Proven experience with shell scripting and automation. Must be able to successfully pass any employment background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract. DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Baseline Certification.
