Linux Systems Administrator

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Linux Systems Administrator to join a DoD program supporting the USAF located in San Antonio, TX. The Linux Systems Admin will assist with the deployment of an application in a Linux environment. This is a short-term opportunity, with an extremely high chance of additional work being granted through 2029.

Responsibilities for the Linux Systems Administrator include:

• Provide operational maintenance and support for servers running on Linux

• Implement configuration changes and patches to meet DISA STIG requirements

• Assist with patching. automation, and networking responsibilities

Required Qualifications for the Linux Systems Administrator include:

• 2+ years of Linux Systems Administration experience

• Understanding of networking principles

• Experience with AWS and Automation (CloudFormation) Preferred

• Active TS/SCI Clearance

Compensation for the Linux Systems Administrator include:

• Salary Range: $85,000-130,000/year depending on experience
