Linux System Administrator

Altamira is seeking a System Administrator to support the Advanced Technical Exploitation Program II (ATEP II) effort currently underway at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC).

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience and/or familiarity with RedHat, Linux, CentOS and/or UNIX

• Familiarity with Docker, DC/OS, AWS and/or Kubernetes desired

• Security+ is strongly desired

Daily Activities:

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems

• Provide installation, configuration, tuning and troubleshooting of commercial and custom software

• Installation, configuration, tuning and troubleshooting of commercial and custom software

• Assist users in access and use of IT systems

• Support IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution

• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to management and internal customers for system issues and escalated tickets

• Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in technical discipling from an accredited college or university desired
• 5 years' experience as a System Administrator in programs and systems of similar scope, size and complexity
• ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE REQUIRED*
