Altamira is seeking a System Administrator to support the Advanced Technical Exploitation Program II (ATEP II) effort currently underway at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC).

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience and/or familiarity with RedHat, Linux, CentOS and/or UNIX

  • Familiarity with Docker, DC/OS, AWS and/or Kubernetes desired

  • Security+ is strongly desired

Daily Activities:

  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems

  • Provide installation, configuration, tuning and troubleshooting of commercial and custom software

  • Installation, configuration, tuning and troubleshooting of commercial and custom software

  • Assist users in access and use of IT systems

  • Support IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution

  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to management and internal customers for system issues and escalated tickets

  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipling from an accredited college or university desired
  • 5 years' experience as a System Administrator in programs and systems of similar scope, size and complexity
  • ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE REQUIRED*

VIEW JOBS 2/8/2023 12:00:00 AM 2023-05-09T00:00 <p>Job Title: Network Enterprise System Security</p><p>Job Description:</p><p>The selected candidate will support the MQ-9 (MAUAS) Program Office providing network architecture support for all systems supporting the MQ-9 Reaper airframe to include the Ground Control System (GCS), and Squadron Operations Centers (SOC).</p><p>Duties will include:</p><ul><li>Support the general engineering requirements as they relate to network architecture responsibilities</li></ul><p>Provide network architecture support for government systems IAW the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model, open protocols and Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF).</p><ul><li><p>Provide technical, advisory and draft documentation support for the development of DoDAF views for MQ-9, GCS, and network data flows extending to downstream customers; and make recommendations regarding potential enhancements.</p></li><li><p>Assess the performance of networked and integrated systems, subsystems and equipment extending from the sensor platform to the end user human machine interface; and identify potential issues and make recommendations for Government consideration.</p></li><li><p>Perform analysis required to integrate subsystems and software applications to include, and is not limited to, SWaP, electromagnetic compatibility, interoperability and associated commercial and military standards compliance, information assurance and multi-level security considerations.</p></li><li><p>Review and provide inputs to applicable military and commercial standards initiatives relating to responsibilities within the program.</p></li></ul><p>Required Skills/Education: Master of Sciences (MS) degree in an engineering field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, OR, Bachelors of Science (BS) degree and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed.
