POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Tiger Plant Superintendent, this position supports the California Production department and is accountable for the correct function of the equipment, clearing and fixing errors of the panels in the dry side and wet side, hand stacks blocks, and hand batch different material; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Sets up the different types of products.

• Programs automated palletizing and cubing.

• Recognizes defects on the equipment.

• Stacks block by hand.

• Assist machine operator as needed.

• Communicates and report any issues to the supervisor or superintendent.

• Checks blocks for defects or contamination.

• Identifies poor quality and bad splits.

• Performs hand batching of any materials that are need it, checking for quality.

• Maintains a clean work area.

• Operates forklift and any other equipment required to perform duties.

• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and

• governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported

• and corrected.

• Predictable, and Regular attendance is required.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• High school education or equivalent

• On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.

• Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.

• Able to read the tape measure.

• Ability to operate forklift and any other equipment required to perform duties.

• Ability to work in a team environment.

• Predictable, and Regular attendance is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; Reach with hands and arms;

Talk and listen; Stand, walk, and sit; Climb/balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, crouch.

Salary Range: $20 - $21 / hr. DOE
